I was thinking about visiting the middle east to see some of the places that are often in the media, and often talked about here on pprune. Ideas starts with Israel, Jordan, Lebanon to start with. Next ideas was to see if one could hire some small GA aircaft, say Warrior, 172 etc to see soe more of the country.
Now given the political situaion at current. Could a flying trip be done covering these 3 countries, can u fly from one country to another freely(normal international processes excepted)
What restrictions are there flying in and around Israel.
Ditto for Jordan and Lebanon
Is Eilat in Israel open to GA aircraft.
Will post any more questions as i think of them.
Any info would be much appeciated.
Am an Australian ATPL, 2000 hrs in GA aicraft. Wanting to do a VFR, low and slow, meet some people type trip. Perhaps meets some of our fellow ppruners from the middle east. Enough of reason for a tip in itself.
