Hi,

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can assist me - is there a flying club in the Cayman Islands , and if so, what are the contact details ?

I have recently relocated to the Cayman Islands, and have attempted to make enquiries at the airport in Georgetown. No-one seems to no. The contact details provided on the internet for the flying club in the CI is no longer valid !!

Please help, as I am very keen to do some flying whilst staying here.

Many thanks

As you have already found out, there was a Flying Club here in Grand Cayman. I do not know what has happened to it post IVAN, but I do know that Walling Whittaker (of CI Govt. Labour relations dept.) used to be quite active in the club as were one or more of the McCoy Boys from Little Cayman.

You could probably also check with Urs Billeter of Divers World and/or Roy McTaggart (CAL Chairman) they each own their own aircraft and probably know every one that is active in private flying in Grand Cayman.

Good Luck
