My oldest son works as a marketing/p.r. rep for an international company that has a strong representation in its field, in the Aussie market.
Today, he was called into his superior's office to be advised how the salaries would be structured based on performance.
"If you have performed well, you'll receive a 5-6% pay increase, if you're just treading water we'll give you 4%, and if we want you to F:mad:CK OFF, you'll get a 3% rise."
...and then I thought of how much QANTAS staff had been received, and what the message was from my boy's boss!!
