well mr cathay pacific I am a brit with a south african frozen atpl flying instructor thingymagigg withh the titles aforementioned experience q. do they at least sniff at people like me who wish to move up the rocky ladder or what any expereinced views are welcome!

Most successful applicants today have 2500+ hours, most twin time or turbine. The average S/O I fly with has medium t/p command time, 3000-4500 hours. So I guess the answer is "probably not right now"...but try anyway. What have you got to lose - apart from your sanity, that is?
