This is a calling card to all those ex-Sqn members who would like to attend the annual Maple Leaf Dinner in the middle of March. The event will held at Aldergrove, Northern Ireland. For further information please send me a PM.

665, 661, 657 how many other maple leaf/red patch Squadrons are there?

'Squadron members' , does that include the backbone of the squadron? (ie the multiple 6 month-ers?)

May I suggest, for maximum viewerage, similar posts on the site of the 18th plural and not forgetting the Army Air Corps Association (http://www.aaca.org.uk/) guestbook.( The "Forthcoming Reunions" page may be a lead  )

edited 'cause I can't count!

Of course I would be surprised if I was to be, after all you'd be better off with people like WG_13.

Why? Because according to his/her profile they are an;All out aviation sad chap. An utter bore around non flying types, but aren't we all?
May I speculate that would not just apply around non flying types ! :ok: :p ;)

Besides, in the words of the late great Groucho Marx:

" I DON'T WANT TO BELONG TO ANY CLUB THAT WILL ACCEPT ME AS A MEMBER. "

Have a nice one, it's not as if it will be interupted by exercises, op callouts or fastballs. In fact, will anyone be there to attend due to the amount of leave 'created' out there?

Machrihanish on the 9th Sept ! Mmmm. You only said that because it's close enough to go from there and you know I'd give a good party! With or without enough warning!

If you can't make it, you will be welcome to join me in Machrihanish on the 9th Sept. :ok:

I have arranged a visit to the USAF hangar to be shown around the 'Aurora' aircraft,

followed by a short walk to the Machrihanish Golf Club for a little golf competition/BBQ.
