View Full Version : EK A310 Frieghter Operation - Hiring?

Anyone know about EK hiring pilots for their new A310 freighter operation? How many airplanes will they operate? Any idea about freighter routes?

Seems to me that if you really want to fly for EK (despite all of the negativity on these boards), then maybe you would want to fly the A330/A340 or 777 vs. the A310 freighter.... Would this be a good gig (excluding all of the pay issues, etc.)?

Cheers

Anyone heard of this opportunity? Any thoughts appreciated.

Riker,

Compare all the negativity with how much "no comment" you have heard.

I actually believe that the average EK pilot is pretty happy with his/her lot.

A310, great aircraft and in the freight role even better. Good rosters if you want to be home a lot I would imagine

You are kidding?! If you are in EK I suggest that you ask your colleagues mate.

"Listen to Hotel California..." Can you provide a little more detail? I am familiar with the song, but how does it apply in this case? Any more details?

Why would a position on the A310 Freighter be better/worse than another flying position at EK?

Riker, he means "You can check in but you can never leave". See the post above.
