Anyone got any news about why CX 100 (SYD-HKG) on 6th Jan delayed for 24 hours?

It refreshes my mind that around 2 months ago that another CX100 was also delayed for 24 hours due to no F/O.

CX 725 cancelled on 5 Jan. Due crew shortage. Had 2 visitors to the Flt deck, and both asked about CX and cancelled flights. I think Tony T's outburst in the SCMP back-fired, now everyone knows about CX cancellations. A PR disaster.
