I noticed a woman at Beirut airport on 18 august 2004, I overheard her saying she was cabin crew and seemed to be stuck there. She works for a gulf carrier. From her features she seems to hail from south or SE Asia. I am also cc and was also stuck in Beirut that day. It's a long shot but are you on this site?
