An interesting evening in Switzerland. Mr Suter quietly shuffled to one side and left his little airline in the none too loving embrace of a Dutchman and a brace of bankers. Where to from here for Crossair?

Too right, 6hrs plus EGM yesterday (my bum is still numb) which consisted almost entirely of minor shareholder after minor shareholder pointing out what a bunch of to$$ers UBS and Credit Suisse are. All got a bit emotional at the end when Moritz bade his farewell...Don't envy Andre trying to make it all work.

Saw the Dutchman on TV. The poor guy was either drunk or has had a stroke. Either way he seemed passed his best. Hard words maybe but it's a hard business.

As for Moritz - what can one say? I have flown with him and liked him (apart from the bloody big cigar he would smoke in the cockpit - instant IMC). He has certainly put a few backs up in his time but it seems rotten treatment for a real pioneer.

Yeah, it's hard to see Moritz leaving! However he did it in honour and for the best for the "New Crossair"!

!!!Now, Rainer E. Gut MUST leave as well!!!

Otherwise he hinders the the start of the airlines as much (or more) than Moritz would have, if he would have stayed! Now Zurich has to show their commitment to the project!

Rob Abrahamsen was a former CEO of Nedcor in South Africa and allegedly implicated in some interesting scandals there ... Nedcor of course is not in the same league as ABSA which was once described by the Bank of England as the "most corrupt bank since BCCI"!

If you find yourself in a lift alone with him sometime, ask him how Louis Luyt is... ;)

All in all, he fits in perfectly with your average Swiss banker! :D  :D
