$3.3 million?

For those of you who aren`t privy to the information, but keep seeing 3.3 million scattered randomly about by SCMP, let me try and set the record straight.

Hypothetically, if I were to still be here at age 55, with 28 years in the company, my salary would be about $1.5mill.
A similar position in other airlines earn the following. (HKD)
UAL $2.6 mill
NWA $1.8 mill
AA $1.8 mill
Delta $2.1 mill

Couldn`t find details for European carriers.

Those figures would be accurate for many of us B-scalers.

The company however much more enjoy quoting the top .05% of managment/ senior CT/ BT salaries to get their point across to a very naive HK media and public!
