Page 17 this week's FLIGHT. Read it when you get a chance and then answer the following questions:-

1) How much was the refurb on these aircraft?
2) How many engines have the lessors blown?
3) What state are the aircraft in now?
4) Have CX actually been paid in hard cash for the lease?
5) Would they be parked up if they came back or would they be put back to work with all the spare crews we have lying around?

In answering to some your questions :

2) over 10 engines blown within the first year of operation.
3) not good, PIA maintenance is not exactly HAECO.
4) tricky question.....

Just thinking.

Don't suppose these would be given to crews recruited in KUL do you?
