I see from the aviation jobsearch.com website that Excel have a lot of operations jobs on offer! Are they expanding whats the story? Does anyone know whats it like to work for these guys, Also does anyone know what sort of money they are likely to be offering for these positions,

Aircraft controller?
Flight Planning Officer?
Route Planning Manager?

Excel and Air Atlanta Europe as the combined force of the Avion Group are indeed looking for a good many people! The website is now up and running with full details and salary ranges.

Click here for jobs galore!!!! (https://secure.xl.com/xl2005/recruitment/default.aspx)

Get online and have a look - any comments please let us know as maybe i can get myself a pay rise! Dont forget we are moving to the new and high tech office, all mod cons, great benefits, a gym on the top floor and a well stocked fridge. It is a great place to work and the potential for future expansion is great! The rumours on here are only the start! And Crawley is so much nicer than Luton and Wilmslow dont you think :O

Just completed the online application form on Excel's website but no confirmation email to let me know they've received my details. Has anybody else had the same problem or does anyone have a number for their HR dept?

Has anybody heard anything regarding their applications?

I think processing would take some time. Postal applications were not allowed apparently but that said, I would expect a high level of on-line applications for so many positions. http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/ups/kamikaze/smilie_newbie.gif

I know at least one of our crewing bods had an interview, looks like a winner all round and by what he says they are recruiting and interviewing so many bods that there will be a lot of jobs springing up all over the place where people leave to take up their new roles.

Kinda shoulda applied myself !!

So those who did apply, are Excel going to reply to say "yes or no" for an interview ??? Or will they do what loads of companies do and just stay quiet ?
