This morning in La Prensa, read that the Guatemalan airline Tikal Jets inaugurated service using DC-9īs to Managua, Nicaragua. Also read that recently they started serving San Pedro Sula, Honduras. According to the article, service between Managua and Guatemala City will be with a stop in San Pedro, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The article further states that Tikal Jets plans service to Panama City, Panama and San Jose, Costa Rica in April of this year. Between AeroHonduras and Tikal Jets, looks like competition is heating up and things are getting interesting in Central America.
