Pruners,
I am seeking to correspond with any current North Sea offshore pilot to gain an insight as to your IFR procedures. I spent 27 years flying 212, 412 and 76 VFR in the offshore business (IMC not permitted – company requirement, not regulatory – VFR limit 350 feet 3K vis). I’m told by well travelled aviators that the weather in our location is not all that much different from the North Sea save for the icing. Please PM if you can devote some time and I’ll give a list of questions. May require scan examples of approach plates etc. Thanks in advance.
