Hey

Is there anyone who knows if you have a 737-300/400/500 FAA rating with about 500 hours how the airlines would look at you and what would the chances for getting a job here in europe be?

Ithink that 500h on type can substitute the typerating course, therefor you'd only have to do a pc to get the type on your jar certificate.

check with the Danish CAA, who used to put FAA rating on a Danish JAA licence. If you then fly 500 hours with an FAA ticket, your Licence proficiency Check with your new, JAA airline will take any limitation away.

Right now, you would quite easily get a job with the FAA licence and hours, however the market changes all the time. (by the way, if done under the FARs, I believe the -200 is included)

Having done a few interviews and worked for some 737 carriers, no one ever cared where I did my training / flying.

PM if any specific questions. IP
