Here are a few piccies I took at Leeming on Thursday 20th January. The conditions were very difficult. There was Rain, winds and ever darkening cloudy skies so this made the photos not as good as I would have liked still here are the photos anyway

What's happening to Leeming, is it closing or have they found a new role for it?

Do we need these in here? Surely they should be in the spotters forum.

Are these ADVERTS for AIRCRAFTINACTION.CO.UK, I thought Pprune didnt like adverts.

Best use for Leeming, Burial Ground for  spotters.

F3Hadlow - thank you for yet more SUPERB piccies, especially considering the poor conditions. I look forward to your next contribution. :ok:

Tourist and ZH875 - your rude and condescending posts do you no credit. F3Hadlow obviously has a passion for aviation, a trait that I suspect you'd also like to claim. Just because you're on the 'business' side of the fence does not entitle you to belittle the efforts of other enthusiasts. Keep you crewroom banter for the crewroom, or at least make your public banter funnier.

BN - I think we do. They are great pictures!

AdLib, just pointing out that the spotters pictures would be better placed in the spotters forum.

The pictures may be good, but wrong place to put them. I still question the advertising though!.

Thank you! Someone thinking the same as me!

What Pprune actually doesn't like is obnoxious tw@ts like yourselves! You just concentrate on what you do best and let others do the same!

F3 Hadlow

Keep 'em coming! Ignore the posts above.:ok:

They all look the same to me! If I wanted to look at pictures I'd go stand in WH Smith's and use their magazine library like all the other spotters.

They don't belong here.

So there.

The pictures might be Airfix box-top perfect, but they lack any unique selling point, in my view.

The right picture is invariably saleable. Clinical-digital lacking anything original might be technically excellent, but instantly forgettable.

An unusual air-to-air which has not been fart-arsed about with using some clever image processing software is the sign of a true artist.

..and speaking of Airfix, the buggers ripped off my air-to-air of 'Armoured Charger' for their Gulf War 1 Tornado box-top without any permission or credit!

Under exposed, un-inspiring nonsense! This isnt a photo forum unless someone requests them or are pertinent to a thread -am I right or am I right?

Reasons I left the RAF part 3000:

MUPPETS!!

Keep posting the pics, if the MODS want them moved, they will move them i guess.

I can't believe how sad some people really are.

I like to see pictures of aircraft, but I am lucky enough to have broadband. Lots of people use dial-up and pictures take masses of time to download.

Why not post a link in the Mil forum telling people that you've put new photos (of Leeming, Wittering or whatever) on the spotter's bit of the site? People who want will go and look, whilst those who don't will avoid blocking their minimal bandwidth with this stuff.

Just a thought; I doubt this is the first time this has been suggested, otherwise I have just had my first ever good idea!
