Talked to a friend in the Gulf Of Mexico war zone...he said he heard a conversation that suggested North Sea pilots were contributing to a Strike Fund to support American Gulf of Mexico pilots if they go out on strike agains OLOG/Air Log.
His information is usually spot on but I found this a bit hard to believe. He said he had overheard a conversation and did not wish to identify his source because he feared the guy might be in trouble with his manager if the source was leaked.
I know the pilos from Norsk have been on record as supporting the effort by Air Log pilots. There are public statements about that. The news that UK pilots are involved in a donation effort is news.
Anyone know anything about that? BALPHA guys donating to a fund for the Air Log pilots?
