Does anybody have a Guatemalan licence?

I have a Guatemalan licence from back in 1996, which I´ve let lapse. Now I might have an opportunity to fly a "TG" registered aircraft outside of Guatemala. I know the question is a very big long-shot, but has anybody every managed to renew a Guatemalan medical (will they accept, for example, an FAA AME´s report) to renew the medical and issue a new licence validation certificate without having to travel to MGGT?

It is quite a process to re-new a Guat med. The DGCA must authorize it.
Try to get the owner to push it with your FAA med. That's what we were able to do.
