I have heard that Cathay is looking into the valididity of SA ALTP's. And if they find that the licence is no longer acceptable. Where does that place at the SA guys that have valid licences? If Cathay rules against the licence, what will Singapore and Emirates do? If not all the others. A few rotten apples have really cocked things up for the rest. Not to mention them getting away with it too! The future looks fuzzy.
