You'll one of 8 candidates from your part of the world while in HKG. They usually have 2 sets of candidates per week while they interview. Past candidates have had 1800-5500 hrs. All sorts of experience. Be yourself, CX can see a phoney a mile away. Brush up on high speed aerodynamics, and high level met.

Peace.

MiddleMarker,
Good luck with you final interview.
Also good to hear CX are looking at pilots around the 1000hr mark :)
Just curious though...what are your hrs made up of, do you have alot of twin time, turbine etc?

Gidday, I'm coming up in Nov after an August first interview. Does anyone know how many get through the second interview??
What's the word on F/O freighter jobs out of SYD???

FYI, one of tthe interviewers told me last week that at their last set of initials, the lowest experience was at 2000 hrs, the highest at 8000 hrs (that's out of 31 candidates).

The lowest you couuld reasonably expect to get in with is still 2500 hrs (if it's the right mix).
