Hi guy's

Just wondering does everyone have the problem with windows xp being very slow to boot up . I have ad-ware , spysweeper , norton anti virus but it makes no difference to the boot up .

Is there anything that can be done to speed up the process or do you just have to live with it ?

thanks guy's flightime

I have ad-ware , spysweeper , norton anti virus but it makes no difference to the boot up .

It does if they are scheduled to run upon start up. Disable all of them and then see what difference it makes.
Bootvis is very good, I now go from switching the computer on, to a fully booted desktop in 27 seconds :D
