Pilots aged 60 and over may not fly over France.Portugal and Italy in command of public transport aircraft. Does anyone know what changes are in the pipeline now that we live in a supposedly harmonised Europe? Is there a timescale for change?

And at what point to they have to provide proof of age???

Is there going to be some sort of bar code on Nigel's backside which the French will scan before he can enter French airspace?

Perhaps we should only allow French pilots into British airspace if they can prove they are wearing a Beret, stripy jumper, and a string of onions...

Still, Prince Harry should be OK if a future government of another EU state were to demand particular insignia in their uniform before allowing entry into their airspace (now which one could I be thinking of???!!!)

OK to fly into Portugal as a Captain 60+ as long as the aircraft not registered in Portugal ie CS Reg
