Gusto, Salut.
Which American guy? the Mzee that was ex-balloon pilot? If him, he left long ago, then join PAS where he flew a max on Caravan, he was really happy with his job but for some personal reasons had to leave TZ. He is now in the US.

No, No 406rubani: The original Shenzi Rubani (actually it's his address on Yahoo.com) left Arusha after more than many years at FMS, then TGT before helping the Greek to start, but he left early 2002 (I went back into flying thanks to him, inspiration, motivation, he was the first one to give me the controls of a Van). But in the same spirit, we're members of that Shenzi Rubani Club of original TZ pilots (although I joinned on the late the flying club, having been in TZ for 10 years gave me a faster membership!! Isnt it bitch! and of course the kiss of death with the giraffe stamped me forever).
The original Shenzi Rubani now flies Citations Excel here in the US and roots for the Steelers!

Gusto's refering to mzee with the macharubu.

You're kabisa right 406pilot, the person u are thinking off was flying with sandals and after fleeing from A-Excel went to fly Vans for Precision. Been in the Us now since December.

Yes Dude, Lone Falcon,

Hope you are keeping well Bwana, sorry, I never got the time to reply to your pm, samahani. Yes, SR_HTAR is the dude. He's doing well, been flying his twin-jet for a good while now and enjoying it a lot. Living in Pittsburgh.

Howzit Shenzi?

Yeah mate its true I am jumping ship. The reasons are as follows;
a) I need twin time.
b) At 700 hours of van time I have had enough.
c) I am sick of HTAR-HTZA-HTDA and back(I want to cut my wrists by the time I land at Zanzibar) I need a change dude.
d) I want to return to flying in Uganda and Congo, I love that sh!t

No probs with the famous Greek God of Flight. I get along ok with him and everyone else in the place. But I think my ambitions have outgrown this company. Anyway the split is all cool, I am keeping my end of the bargain so it should all be cool.

Mate if you are in contact with the said American balloon pilot pass on my best regards. I hope all is going well for him. He may not want to be contacted by anyone for now though. Those who know him know why. Anyway good luck to him.

But I will be in the Tanzanian sky for a long time to come.

Cheers

Hey Helldog, great to read you dude. And congrats for going back to the twins, and back to the West eh!

I will pass your salaams to the Mighty Balloon Pilot. Things going fine for him, happy to have done it and to be here, but of course missing his job and flying the Van. He liked it a lot. I will let him know where to get in touch with you via pm.
