thinking of heading from ireland to estapona or portabanus ,spain around easter furthest trip is London so far.
Any pointers on flying through france on in to spain, ie good airfields ,atc, etc.also an airfield around the area for parking up a couple of 44s for a few days.

Lyon Bron/Troyes/Perpignan are ok in France, then Valencia/Reus/Albeceta/Granada/Malaga/Sevilla in Spain, all got some nice hotels nearby and the service is good :ok:

I'm in Sabadell (LELL) near Barcelona (LEBL) in case you need something more specific ... I've flown to LFMP once , and in LECD, LEGE,LELL,LERS.
You will find friendly atc in the sunny spain ;)

I guess you have found out by now, but Spain expects you to file a full flight plan for every flight.
The Parador at San Sebastian is a good place to stay.
