I am looking for telephone numbers to access ATIS for the following stations, or the closest station. This is a common service in the US but haven't really heard of it elsewhere except Waterford (Ireland). I am looking for the recorded ATIS rather than contact numbers for the tower etc.

Can anybody help with:

Treviso, Italy
Hercklion,Crete
Luxor, Egypt
Djibouti
Muscat
Patna, India
Amedabad, India
Chang Mai, Thailand
Phuket
Halim, Jakarta
Bali

Manila
Okinawa, Akita, Memenbatsa, Japan
Adak, Alaska

thanks in advance and brgds,

GP.

Edited 30 Jan 05 to delete stations that I now have numbers for due to replies posted on this site. Many thanks.

why do you want telephone contact for these remote stations...Use the InterneT.....look at www.pilotpointer.com go into weather and pick as much as you like FOC....

Yes Bumz, Internet is fantastic for that, but in some occasions, i.e. short trips and WX close to minimums like early morning fog, it can be interesting to check weather again just before start-up. What I have often observed is that crews take-off with WX information that was issued one hour or more before.

Although this may be more for General Aviation and Commuter operations with only Cat I only landing capability...and no EVS/SATCOM/CONNNNNNNNEXION By Boeing/FAX/TV/ACARS/...:)

If the crew are able to telephone from the aircraft, which I assume is your point, then they would normally be able to use the data centre service to upload current WX, or in most FBO's even in Europe, (and Moscow), the ability to hit the net is available. Having said that I am going to Madena this week, and they have NO internet, or most other things actually....
