Due to the forthfcoming redundancies in the RAF there will be in the region of 6000, mostly aircraft, engineers seeking some form of employment.

Anyone recruiting?

6,000? Blimey, I didn't know there were that many left!

According to the quotas given on the Mil Aircrew forum, total RAF redundancies are 2,750 in tranches 1 and 2 over the next three years, followed by another 1100 in tranche 3 starting in 2008. That's for all trade groups including aircrew. I see only around 1000 in the engineering trades. Quite bad enough though!

Slightly mislead by me (no changes), 6000 includes those 'due out' who will not be being replaced over the time of the reductions ....

Throught a recruiter buddy, I have a handle on a number of A & P and electronics type jobs available in the South Central US with a major aerospace company. No fees, no BS. RAF types would have to get work visas, but not too difficult. (I did it).
