Hi All,
Around the 6th or 7th of December last year the 757-200 Mexicana Airlines flight from LA to Mexico City diverted to Chihuaha.
Thanks to the actions of the crew the aircraft was landed safely and all is well.
If possible I would like to get any info I can on the reasons for this diversion as I had a couple of now distraught family members on board. They went through the whole gamut, a loud bangs from the right engine, i believe 2 steep descents, oxygen masks that worked and then were stopped due to smoke fumes etc..
The airline provided no information to the passengers and after a few hours suggested that passengers reboard that aircraft (which of course all flatly refused)
I ask simply to provide info for my family..
