ECHIE, if you already have a flying job I would keep it. There would not be much advantage in changing. IMHO West Air Sweden/Europe/Luxembourg would not be a good employer. Management currently use the Sweden and luxembourg crews against each other and are trying to minimise any crew benefits in order to maximise profits.

You will not get any flight duty pay and if you sign up for a particular base, you will not get any per diems when on duty. Current FO pay is 2400 euro/month taxed. Captains basic is 4000.

For that you work 5 days mon-fri with most weekends off unless you are "leased back" to West Air Sweden! You can expect to pay for your own TR on the ATP and will fly about 8-10 hours per week.

Incidentally, this advert may be to subvert current crews to "voluntarily" move to a fixed base or be replaced!! If you choose to proceed, go in with eyes fully open.

Very bad moral in both at West Air. Pilots in Sweden are unhappy, since they work more than those employed in Luxemburg. I heard that most off the pilots are constantly looking for an other job.
But than again, if you need a job, you eat **** and take it for caviar.
A lot of their crews are Spanish, with contracts where the base is their home town. I think they are trying to change that.
Otherwise it might be that they got new contracts.

Whatever you do. Think everything through twice before you say yes to anything at westair. They eat you up!
I´ve been with the company for 5 years, just left. It was 5 years too much.
There have been some roumors telling that there are people paying for the ATP and then get a work at westair.
I sincerely hope not - pay for a 737 or something else instead. Working night, flying turboprop with a complete waste of company is not what you normally pay for - is it?

The management is a complete disaster with no sence of normal thinking. The worst I ever experienced when it comes to all sorts of business. The total absence of airline-knowledge, total lack of taking care of your employees, total lack of common sence.
Your not thinking if the company will go down - it is a matter of when!
