Just out of interest who do you know has the highest hours in rotary aircraft!

i know its not the hours but the type of hours you fly, but im curious. I know a couple of chaps with 20,000 +

Come on all you modest helicopter pilots dont be ashamed to put it on the table!!!

Merry XMAS and safe new year ahead

I hope to end my flying career with no more than about 10.000 hrs.

The name of the game is to get te most possible pay with the least work needed. If you fly more than 100 hrs a month it just gets booring, its just like sex, to much of a good thing is not better.

By the way, I´m 38 with 4600 hrs so I only have just over 5000 hrs to go and I´m sure I´m going to thoroghly enjoy every minute expecially since I´m flying my favourite heli of all times now! The Bell 212 :D

I heard a guy had 30,000 hours and then lost his life in a Mini 500 kit helicopter.

Back in 1997, a 63-y.o. Kiwi pilot had over 26,000 hours. Kept flying until early this year, don't know what his final total was, but I believe he then pranged a plank and was killed. Poor old Gutters.
