They chartered some 747's after the war in 2001/02, is it a regular practice now?
Nope. I'm sure that Ariana will operate in some shape or form, but it wont be with SVA aircraft.

with my own sweet blue eyes i can tell you that there is a 747-200 and an DC10 in kabul everyday now for these flights.

DC10-15 is Armenian registered on charter for the Hajj
