what a joke. lots of time and effort gone into getting a national scheme of uniting regional airlines to share cost. So 12 months on, who has joined? not one! scarenorth, emu, and asa all owned by capiteq.
I also hear that things are not happy in the camp. Anyone there wish to comment?

While we're on the subject of ScareNorth/Airlines Of South Australia, has anyone heard the rumour that they've lost the contract for the world's longest mail run, i.e. the one that originates out of Port Augusta & services all the stations up as far as Boulia in Qld every weekend? I heard that West Wing Aviation out of Mt Isa are supposed to be taking it over as from the first of January. I've also heard that hardly a weekend goes by that they don't have some sort of problem with the aircraft doing this run.

Knew it was up for tender, but that was mean't to close at the end of June04. Scarenorth|ASA had been running on an extension.
Pinky if your out there, do you know?
