Over the Christmas season, let's spare a thought or prayer remembering ~

The 'reason for the season'

The families of fellow aviators who lost their lives this year, and

Rotorheads who'll be working on Christmas Day - Fly Safe, guys.

Fly Safe and don't forget to check your NOTAMs for a chubby little red dude flying at low altitude on December 24th in your area. You can also check for radar contact here...

For all of you who have put up with my stupid postings this year, have a good one.
Make sure you have a few good thoughts for all of our Troops who are in harms way to allow us to have a Christmas Season.

To everyone who posts on this forum...

The Senior Guys (not in age - well, not because of their age), who take the time and make the effort to explain things that became second nature to them a long time ago.

The Regular Correspondents, who never lose sight of the ball (or the turn and slip) and put the 'Professional' in the title of the forum.

The Forces, whose dedication gets thrown into sharper and sharper relief by every event that unfolds this year; for them, I have only the highest respect.

The Askers of Awkward Questions, who (perhaps unconsciously at times) highlight areas that we got through in the PL/CPL exams, but I never really understood it, did you?

And...those who don't fly often enough. Those who, several years after they last flew, can still remember the pre-takeoff vital actions; still - when they think they're unobserved - practice that quickstop while sitting in their office chair; those who, aged 3, didn't have to be told what a helicopter was - all they needed was a name for it.

To all of you - my best wishes.
