A rumour is going around that BA are selling the old classic 747s which are parked at Cardiff for £1 million each which also includes re con engines, if this is true i find it very hard to believe that an airline crying poverty so much could justify such action. Perhaps one of you could shed some light on this situation or rumour.

Just found out that it is £600,000 each.

Correct Skyguy. However that it the currect market value of a RR poweed 747-200. Something to do with supply and demand I think.

I believe that after EAAC & Air Atlanta have finished there will be none left, not even for the Guv (he is dead set on the TriStar " Queen of the sky" anyway) <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">
