Easy to meet people/make friends?

Hi there,
I really want to know this, it might sound like a stupid question but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I am a pilot wannabe.... really interested in joining the aviation industry, however, there is a question in my mind for awhile and i really needed an answer.
To all those commercial pilots out there, is it easy to make friends when you work for an airline? I mean, you work with different people in every flight. The possibility of meeting the same colleaugues is low. So, how do you make friends? Also, when you are at outport, do you hang out with your partners or just simply everyone do their own business?

You normally hang out with the crew when outport but it all depends on the crew and company regulations. As far as making friends and I mean real friends at work is not that common thing to happen but it happens sometimes I quess. Many people like to keep collaques and friends apart. But it doesnt mean you cant have a good time at work;)
