Anybody heard or know more about Robinson offering a $5000 cashback when owners and operators trade in their -2 Blades on a set of the new -4 Blades ?

I believe there is an AD or bulletin just about to come out scraping the current -2 blades regardless of TT.
Due to the recent occourance of a number of inflight separations worldwide including the recent one in NZ with only 700hrs TT.
The rumour is that the NZ blade showed the exact characteristics of the SYD accident and also the same as the Robinson/FAA test samples in the investigation re moisture penetration and corrosion tracking along the spar attatchment to the bolt hole.
Frank is exchanging -2 blades for a new set of -4 blades for $5000 (I guess $US).
Does this amount to an admission of flawed design??

Presumably we are talking weeks or months of down time for UK based R22s. Apparently the spindles have to be cut off the blades and then sent back to the factory for new ones to be fitted. I guess we are talking two weeks each way shipping plus queuing at the other end plus manufacture(?)plus assembly etc. etc.
