Anybody going skiing or snowboarding, if so where and when.

I'll start it off
Wengen (switzerland)
Road trip from coventry with 12 cars and about 40 mates (hmm talking about road trips in an aviation forum)
27th Dec till 3rd January.

Now just Praying for Snow. Let it snow let it snow let it snow (i'm singing it in my head it sounds good okay).:8

Just got back from a quick trip to Verbier, Switzerland. Beautiful wx, just needs more (read a lot) snow. :D

Cort, true.....................but it only takes me 17 mins to drive to work and I'm not paying $2.25 in gas ;)

Les Deux Alpes in February snowboarding. Possibly also climbing in Wales for a long weekend:cool:

Leaving for Antarctica on Jan 21st. :ok: Flying from Manchester to Buenos Aires, then ship (ex-research vessel) from Ushuaia.

You should come out further west. The only snow I can see from my chair is on the mountains.

Now if only the skiing conditions were better at Sunshine or Lake Louise. Guess I'll have to look at going further into BC. Probably around New Year's.

Mebbe Calgary might be the next stop on the Jerricho world tour. I'm slowly making my way westwards home..............

You people are clearly SICK. Why else would you WANT to go to places where it snows?

God it plunges below 20C at times here and thats bad enuf!
