do we need to panic?
Given that the ebay link you gave has not had any bids in nearly 5 days, I think not!

The subject has been discussed extensively on various forums (forae?) such as TTRAPISOIT2/3 and here (http://www.pprune.org/forums/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=1352829&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending).

The factory burnt down story here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/suffolk/3957303.stm) (which caused me personal concern since it is close to my MILs house and I was worried about her being overwhelmed by a tide of molten pickle). However this did not occur and the panic should be over by now anyway since apparently production has recently recommenced story here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/suffolk/4040121.stm)

I hope this sets your mind at rest

C&B also make Tescos Value Tomato Ketchup which has been out of stock for over a month with a little sign that unlikely to be resupplied 'til Jan at the earliest...saw very confused pensioners searching out the Branston this morning actually

Branston Pickle is for poofty types. Haywards Picallili, that's the stuff to put hair on yer head. Or even that evil Chillililli stuff. Even the punter only opens that jar when accompanied by an adult. Branston pah:rolleyes:

Hey Tony Draper
Maybe HS were (allegedly) involved in the demise of the Branston factory?
That way they could boost their sales of dodgy pickles!
Hope you found a way of disposing of the toxic waste!!:E
