Hello,

two different sources - the Italian ANSA (http://www.ansa.it/infrastrutturetrasporti/notizie/rubriche/traspaereo/20041206130933183893.html) news agency and the Italian tourism website TTG Italia (http://www.ttgitalia.com/newsletter/news_dettaglio.asp?IDNews=37866) - report that EasyJet will introduce two new routes from Paris Orly (ORY) to Pisa (PSA) and Turin (TRN).

The fact is, the details seem to differ in the two reports

According to ANSA, only the Pisa route will be introduced, starting March, 30.

Instead, TTG Italia reports that both routes will be opened, both starting March, 30. TTG Italia also quotes Mr. Yannis Kapodistrias, EZY's Italy Marketing Manager: (my translation) "We're really glad to open two new routes from two airports in which we've been operating for a very short time: Pisa and Torino.". Furthermore, TTG Italia quotes Mr. Mario Carrara, President of SAGAT (the TRN airport handling company), and Mr. Pier Giorgio Ballini, Managing Director of the Pisa airport handling company, who both said they're (obviously) glad of the new EZY routes.

Does anybody have more informations on these new routes?
At the moment, there is no sign of them on EZY's website, neither in the news section, nor in the booking system.

Thanks.

I heard that EZY previously had some difficulty trying to get slots in ORY.

With Volare´s demise, perhaps this has created new opportunities for EZY in ORY.

That makes sense indeed, Doug.

By the way, the flights are now in the EZY booking system, and there's also a dedicated webpage in the Italian edition of the website :)

Cheers,

N.
