Sad news from another forum, the death of George Dunn (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=154349), a gentle giant.
This George was a genuinely kind and gentle man, an excellent pilot and an instructor who for whatever reason did not really become an icon in "Albert" history. However, I personally will miss you George Dunn more than the other iconic "George" who also passed away recently.
God Bless.

It has been a bad month for the 'good guys'.
I didn't know George well but the missus and I bought George's lovely (if small) house off him when we first turned up at Lyneham in 1990/1.
He was a thoroughly decent chap throughout our dealings and about whom, professionally, I have heard only high praise.
While he tried to sell us an absolutely enormous and incongruous wardrobe that hardly fitted in the house, let alone the bedroom, I shan't hold that against him!!
God bless and condolences to his family.
