It would appear that George Dunn, the turboprop fleet manager has passed away. Sad news indeed.

Please show a little sensitivity if you are hounding the company for work at the moment.

George Dunn always took my calls and gave me encouragement to keep on going with aviation when I was thinking of chucking it all in. I doubt very much if I was the only one.

My thoughts go out to his family and his colleagues. He was a good man.

I flew with George about two weeks ago out of Exeter and I was extremley sad to hear the news.

He was one of those people you respected and enjoyed flying with.

All the best to his wife and family for the future and the difficult week ahead.

We are thinking of you.

Very sad news. Whenever you spoke with him, even if he couldn't offer you a job, he left you feeling as if you were important. A rare quality indeed!

Thinking of all those affected by this sad news. Details of the arrangements can be found on the 'Where Are They Now' forum.

A fantastic gentleman who will be missed dearly.

Always a pleasure to speak to and work with, treating each and every one of his crews with respect.

He will be greatly missed, thoughts go to those close to him.

Thinking of you all.
