Just been checking on flights for trip from MAN to either Manston ( EUjet ) rtn or MAN to Gatwick ( Jet2 ) and although ticket prices are very reasonable the charges seem somewhat variable.

Man - Manston 22.47
Man - LGW 14.00

Manston - Man 15.74
LGW - Man 14.00

Surely operating out of Man should generate the same taxes and airport charges, or am i missing something? Seems pretty similar coming back, WHY?

eujet break there charges down so you can see what they are.

£5.64 insurance and fuel surcharge
£5 UK air duty
£9 airport service charge
£2.83 service charge

I can't acces the jet2 website at he moment to check if theres are broken down, but if the fees are. £14 I aasume it's just the airport service charge and air duty they are charging.
