Forgive this rare foray into the Military World...

One simple question, and I've tried searching but found nothing, when are the Navy's Jetstreams going and do we know what's replacing them?

Thanks.

Daifly.

I thought the RAF now has some leased turbo-props replacing the Wetdreams? The MFTS page suggests that RAF ME training is still on the Jetstream.

The RAF are using Beech 200's as a replacement for the Jetstreams at Cranwell. Civil registered of course but using RAF callsigns.

Just heard that Serco are about to start up a Maintenance Base at Culdrose for Multi-engined aircraft and I wondered whether I'd missed them being awarded yet another job lot contract.

I thought that the civvie King Airs at Cranwell had now been given RAF Registrations because of the CAA's views?

Sorry if all this is a little random, I'm trying to put 2+2 together but am making about 53 at the moment! Should be working in PFI's really with that sort of Maths!

Thanks for info so far everyone.

The B200's are about to be transferred to the military register.

Proline II unfortunately. Still a big step in the right direction from the Jetstream.
