What do Sky West use a GPU for? It appears that there is no APU in the aircraft and the GPU is plugged in after both engines are shutdown and it is removed before they start. So is it just a subsitute for an APU? Why not use it for starting and save the battery? With most T/props I thought you were always better off with a ground start where possible.
