Does anyone know if and when KLM will upgrade the business class on their 767 fleet? I travel to YVR quite alot and to be honest its getting to look very dated.

Did a Business Class AMS-YVR-AMS on the MD-11 this Summer. They're in need of a revamp too. Mind you, still much more comfy than those poor sardines in the back. Long haul Y seat pitch is just criminal on some airlines/types.

I don't suspect the business class on the KLM 767 to be "upgraded". They are being replaced by a mix of 777 and A330, the first 767 is too leave early next year.

Grease7 is correct, the "upgrade" will be new aircraft.

Cheers for the info...so does that most likely mean that the YVR route will be replaced by a A330? And will it have the kind of Business class like the new B777? or something different?

According to a KLM Senior Capt I know, it will be the B777 on the YVR starting sometime (probably Spring) next year.

Curious?...I thought the reason they used a B767 on that route
( during winter anyway ) was because they couldn't fill a MD 11 during winter and summer...so why put a larger A/C on that route? ..Unless they're gonna replace the B767 with the MD and then use the 777 during the summer.

Pretty full loads to and from YVR when I travelled (Aug/Sep). Mind you, having said that, they did have some special offers on. Even my C class tkt was about half the normal price.
