FlyBe - 5 more routes from Liverpool (http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0100regionalnews/tm_objectid=14890113&method=full&siteid=50061&headline=five-more-routes-planned-even-before-flybe-take-off-name_page.html)

At a guess...Norwich, Aberdeen, Southampton, Paris CDG and Guernsey?

Southend has also been mentioned as a new base so a link to there may be a possibility.

Two of the five will be french provincial detinations e.g bordeaux and chateroux ( apologies for the spelling) the others southampton? Bristol? Exeter?

The inclination from the article was that would defo be some from the south west and south east and I am sure i have heard NWI mentioned before.

Either way exciting times.

CDg would either be very brave or stupuid (ezy already doing this )

Flybe already happy with new routes from LPL as they have sold over 20000 seats. They are not basing an aircraft with these new routes but I would assume that they would if they start up other routes but what aircraft type would they use if they did start CDG or CHR.

my thoughts initially would be the Q400 as i understand that the 146 's are being phased out. It seems they are also in the midst of trialling 737's ex BHX (albeit leased) . Would it not be interesting if they stuck a few more leased 737's in LPL to ruffle Ezy's orange feathers.

The five ARE Bordeaux and Bergerac in France plus south west England (Bristol or Exeter?), east England (Norwich?) and Scotland (?).

Still Q400's then?

According to the Scotsman newspaper, flyBE is to open up a base at Aberdeen.

If thats the case then that will be one of the routes they intend to fly ex Liverpool.

Bit of competition for Air wales then if they do hold onto the route that is.

There won`t be any competition with the fares 6G are asking!

Flybe had a base in ABZ. It lost about £1 million for the short time it was open. I don't think Jimbo will want to play there again.

Aberdeen will be getting some sort of a route network.

FlyBE are admitting to one route at present to Belfast City with one daily weekday flight.

I understand that there will be a Liverpool to Aberdeen service as well.
