Heard about a Restricted Catagory UH-1H that performs well...
703 engine, tailboom strakes, composite blades....
11,500 feet MSL 9,500 pounds Gross Weight, 47 PSI Q, 100% N1, 100% Nr, climbing like an angel.....full fuel, ballast, Bambi bucket full of water. Only thing missing was enough tail rotor authority.
Quite a change from the old Vietnam version.....right hand turned takeoffs with the horns blaring and the RPM light shining....at sea level.:O
