Evenin' all,
On a (hopefully) forgiveable whim, I'm trying to find out more about the current location and activities of two aircraft.
Dornier 228-200 G-BMMR and G-BUXT, C/N 8063 and 8065 respectively.
Formerly operated by Suckling Airways (now Scot) out of Ipswich and Cambridge, GB.
Air-Britain news recorded G-BMMR 'sold overseas' on 25.07.01. Unable to ascertain subsequent reg.
Why? My first flight in a commercial plane of course, on a delightful hop from Cambridge -> Amsterdam, almost certainly on G-BMMR.
Thanks,
*j*
Making the post above obviously triggered off Google\'s ability to look harder, just found G-BUXT is for sale and currently in Cambridge - see http://www.controller.com/listings/forsale/detail.asp?guid=BC3164EAD700441CBD5E990AF6432F1D&pcid=1209370&etid=1&OHID=1077459&setype=1&nh=0&listURL=NIER.
G-BMMR still eludes me though :-(
