I would like to ask some recommendations about which school to contact for Performance A exam notes.I am thinking to do a distant course since I am out of the country and then probably a quick brush up course just before the exam.
Thank you

There are no schools running perf A anymore this was the old CAA exam.
I think you mean the JAA Perf exam which is now a mixture of all the old CAA perf catagories perf A,B,C,E.
My opinion would be speak to Bristol ground school they have a very good reputation.

I can second that, I am curently on my second module with Bristol, all the guys and gals there are very helpful and the results show it.

I think the graphs above showing the national average against Bristol's results say it all.

I've just done performance with BGS. They were very good and I got a very acceptable mark.

Good notes, good exam feedback

Colin at BGS will sort you out. It is a difficult subject, so you will need the best feedback there is going. Unfortunately, at BGS, Perf is done as part of Mod 2, and the 2 days you get for Perf are split across 2 weeks.

Also, you might want to contact GTS at Bournemouth. They have a Mr Swatton who wrote the best book on Performance. They can offer you personal tuition too.

For the record I just did the correspondance bit and didn't bother turning up at Bristol. I reckon I spent about 50 hours hitting the books and answering questions.

It depends on how well you work on your own but their feedback questions were superb and sufficient to pass.
