That hotmail address asking for 1000h

What's with that hotmail address that's one of PPRuNe's advertisers that asks for 1000h with 250 ME? Why would a company set up a hotmail account to receive CVs when they could perfectly easily set up a mail account on their own servers?

There was a thread on it a while back. Someone seemed to think it was for Rockhopper in the channel islands flying the Islander and Trislander. They are a very small airline and it is quite possible that a hotmail account was the easiest option for them. The channel islands is a few years behind the mainland!
