Urgent.

It may be nothing, but I just looked into a thread in the medical section about giving up smoking. This link caused strange disk activity when i pulled out of the warning about going into a Korean translation process. It continued for some moments until I cut the phone line and power to the computer.

Could anyone with the appropriate skills check this out for a virus? RB

I just tried with Safari - it's full of flash, and tries to download a couple of big (1Mb +) .wmv files (Windows Media Player? I think, not sure). I couldn't be bothered to wait for them to download, but I don't think they're anything sinister, just crappy web design to force that on you from the homepage.

That is probably a fantastic advert for REALLY bad web design, why space everything over a few pages when you can put it all on the home page.

EVO had it knocked on the head, as usual, there are videos loading, flash files and the usual assortment of graphics but nothing untoward but it will make a hell of a noise on your machine starting all the associated applications at the same time.
